This coming August will mark 15 years since Packaging Resources was first established in 2003. We’re celebrating our anniversary with appreciation and gratitude for our loyal customers who have grown with us over the years! As your needs have changed, we have offered new packaging solutions in response. It’s this kind of partnership that has helped us reach this milestone event.
Packaging Resources began in the residential home of company president, Mike Lee. Serving clients in Virginia and North Carolina, the business initially offered stretch film, tape and bulk bags. As business steadily increased, the company outgrew its residence and later moved to its current location in Ashland, Virginia.
Since its inception, Packaging Resources’ customer base has increased dramatically, now operating in global partnerships with 14 plants both domestically and internationally. Several of those plants are BRC, SQF and AIB certified manufacturing facilities. A true testament to our service, Packaging Resources’ first two clients, Har-Tru and Reser’s Fine Foods, remain loyal customers today.
In response to our clients’ needs, we vastly expanded our packaging solutions to include plain films, F/F/S applications, finish bags, stand-up pouches, lidding film, and specialty closures like child resistant sliders, rotogravure printing, flexographic printing, and more. The company is also excited to announce that we will be moving into a new facility later this year.
